More than 60 years ago, Mike Walker designed the first Remington* 700. Since its inception in 1962, the Remington* 700 has grown to be one of the most profilitec and broadly manufactured bolt-action rifles and actions produced in the world. Combine STRASSER’s „Passionate Innovation“ to the Remington* 700 design and the result is the world’s first STRASSER 700 straight-pull-action, the RS 700.
The STRASSER RS 700 Legend comes standard with high quality walnut stock with rosewood finish and an integrated M-Lok rail in the forearm.
The STRASSER RS 700 AVA-Tahr comes standard with the new STRASSER synthetic stock in graphite black or forest green, an adjustable cheek piece with push-button system and an integrated M-Lok rail in the forearm.
The STRASSER RS 700 XRS chassis comes standard with high quality XRS stock, an adjustable cheek piece and an integrated M-Lok rail in the forearm.

Compatibility with RemingtonTM* 700
Stocks: The RS 700 is compatible with all right-hand and left-hand 700 Short Action stocks. In case you want to change the stock from right to left or the other way you even can change the bolt-catch which not only elegantly fills the recess for the bolt handle of your Remington 700 stock but can also be mounted on both sides of the action. Barrels: Our action takes all 700 barrels with barrel nut or with shoulder. Since we use a so called „fat bolt“ design there is a small rework to be done to accommodate our bolt which is slightly bigger in diameter. AICS compatible: AICS stands for „Accuraty International Chassis System“ and is the standard on the market for magazines. Every double row- single feed AICS compatible magazine will fit the rifle. Polymer as well as metal with and without binder plate. Triggers: All 700 triggers are compatible with our rifle. 2 piece scope mounts: Do you like a fixed scope mount or an elegant swing-mount? It‘s your choice. Recoil lugs: Our recoil lugs are made from high strenght steel according to Modell 700 specs.
